An outdoor reception was our dream but we didn’t want a marquee that would be an eyesore and a waste of money if it wasn’t used. They communicated well, the accommodation was amazing, and they were very flexible in accommodating some of our preferences.

No. Many couples choose relaxed cocktail-style receptions outdoors. Popular options include wood-fired pizza, roving canapés, food trucks or shared platters.
Maroon Hill is BYO-friendly. You supply your own drinks and we recommend serving through a professional bar service. All alcohol must be served by RSA-certified staff.
Most couples choose: catering, celebrant, drinks service, styling and florals, DJ and/or live band, photographer and often videographer, and transport or additional hire items. We’ll send you our list of recommended suppliers.
Yes, it’s an important part of having a great wedding. An uncoordinated wedding is… well, uncoordinated. This is why on-the-day coordination is included in all our packages.
Your coordinator runs the timeline, directs vendors as they arrive, manages the flow of the day through speeches and dances, and handles anything that comes up — so you’re not fielding questions in your wedding clothes. If you’d rather engage your own independent coordinator or planner, you’re very welcome to.
We choose not to include food and drinks in our packages so that you have the ultimate freedom in curating your day. You can create your own wedding festival with food trucks and dessert carts outdoors, or make things formal with an indoor five-course dinner. All our couples are different, and their weddings should be too.
